| Pawnee Golden Retrievers was established about 20 years ago by Toni and Monte Norton. The Golden Retriever breed appealed to us both because of their loving, devoted, easy going temperaments. |

Our first American Champion came to us from Rhonda Hovan of Faera Golden Retrievers. His name was CH Faera's Playing for the Gold, better know as Max. We could not have asked for a better mentor than Rhonda to help us better understand the ropes of showing or a more forgiving dog than our Max as we pursued that first Championship. You will see that many of our pedigrees have Max in them as he is the foundation of Pawnee Golden Retrievers. |
