Natalie came to us from Rhonda Hovan and we adored her from the moment she came into our lives.
As a puppy, she was a ball of fur with eyes…soft, sweet, jet black eyes. She loved to cuddle and wanted to be a lap dog, even when she was an adult.
Her first weekend in Open was with Jeff Chaffin and she was Best Opposite Sex one day, followed by Best of Breed/Group 2 the second day. Less than a month later she competed with her housemate PG at Lenape Golden Retriever Club going Best of Winners with PG going Reserve. I was thrilled to be able to watch Pam show her to her championship one weekend that fall with back to back majors.
Since Natalie preferred to live a more solitary life (wanted to be the only dog); she was placed with our good friend Diane & Ken Kerns who adore her to this day.
